Seagull from the beach of Mandvi, Gujarat. This image is from the recent trip to Greater Rann of Kutch. We had gone to Mandvi just to experience a sunset on the beach. I just couldn’t resist taking a picture of this beautiful gull sitting on the beach in the golden light. These gulls are migratory to the Indian subcontinent. The Heuglin’s Gull’s are are very large. Their wingspan is almost 4 to 5.2 foot and can weigh between 950 gm to 1350 gm.
